CPR Training Reviews in Cedar Hills, Portland, OR

The mannequin is really difficult to work with. Otherwise appreciate that you can schedule and do this on your own time!
Easy instructions, easy to find, fast and simple.
Did my pals online portion ($270) and then paid $150 for this skills check off. Booked the night before! Showed up during my booked hour (8:00-9:00 I showed up at 8:20) and finished in less than 10 min. The location was easy to find. Follow the prompts in the email they send you. No instructor. Just entered the password on the keypad and let myself in, logged into the computer, did my skills on a dummy, and left. If you’ve done RQI before it’s the same process - but don’t worry my PALS card isn’t the RQI version it’s the real AHA one. Got my card sent to my email within the hour. Manikins were in good shape, didn’t take any extra effort/maneuvering to give breaths (the hospital versions of these stations always take like 2-3 people to get the adult dummy to take breaths 😂). The computer gives real time feedback on timing/depth/duration of cpr. Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer to wipe down dummies when you’re done. 10/10 would recommend.

A super easy and convenient way to get your recert!
I needed to renew my Bls and came across this company on the aha website. The course was quick and informative for an online course. The skills test was also very quick and helpful to improve my skills.
My experience with CPR VAM was great!
Really great hybrid option that allows you to do the training online and do a skills assessment on a mannequin. Highly recommend. They also sent videos with helpful tips to pass the skills assessment.
This was a great experience. Quick and easy.
Loved it. Made me feel confident and prepared to be able to perform cpr when needed. Definitely would recommend and redo it here.
straightforward, lots of communication prior to testing
This was a great way to do this!
Super easy process, quick, efficient, and they really cared about you passing.
This was the easiest BLS class I’ve ever taken. It was very informative, but it didn’t let you skip the steps. I felt like it was still challenging me, but Not discouraging in the slightest. Whenever I made small mistakes and gave me a chance to correct them and the final assessment was so quick even though I had an hour slot to get it done I got it done in 30 minutes! 10 out of 10 recommend!
Used their facility for the hands on skills test. No issues. Got my BLS card 5 minutes after finishing.
Great communication! They shared lots of tips to help you pass your skills exam. Super easy and helpful process, had my new BLS card within a day.
This company is AWESOME!!! I have used them twice. Once to renew my ACLS and the other my PALS. I'm a travel nurse so I have to find my own education opportunities for my recertification. I've used the Portland, Oregon and Federal Way, Washington locations. The first part of your certification, you do online. The second, you go to one of their locations and return demonstrate required skills. There is support every step of the way and you get real time feedback from the computer. The entire process takes less time then a regular in person class. I highly recommend them!!!
I was very happy with the responsiveness of the support staff. I left a voicemail and had a call back in less than 1 hour. I had good email support when requesting a specific date and time window. The mannequins worked. I plan to return for future skills verification. I had an opportunity to practice as long as I needed before testing and passing.
Quick and fairly smooth. One minor glitch, which the owner responded to immediately. Would definitely recommend doing ACLS with them.
I needed my BLS/CPR ASAP. I called and spoke with Jeff, and he immediately began to help me get going so i could start the process. Jeff was so helpful, kind, and patient through the whole process. He was even giving me words of encouragement along the way, as he could tell I was a bit worried about the test and completing on time. Everything worked out great, and I got everything done! I absolutely recommend this company, and I will definitely use them again next year to renew my certification. Thanks Jeff, you're awesome! =)
Super easy, 4 minutes from my house.
Entered the door code, walked in, logged in on the laptop, and was in and out in approximately 20 minutes.
If I could give Heart Start CPR 100 stars, I would. The entire process of becoming certified through them is beyond amazing. You sign up, do an online portion involving short videos and quizzes, and go take your skills portion, both of which you can do on your time. Heart Start was a life saver when other programs kept canceling their classes last minute after I paid for them. My mother and I spoke with Abby on the phone, and I sent an email to confirm an appointment made, and the owner, Jeff, is the one who responded. They were beyond helpful, had great customer service skills, and really made this process easy. It is a little more expensive than other options for certifying, but there is no stress from them! Heart Start CPR is definitely the way to go. I will be using them every time I need to update my certification and I already told all my peers about them! I cannot thank them enough!
The course went well, easy to sign up and met my scheduling needs.
The location was easy to find, the whole process was very convenient, the computer gave helpful feedback in real-time. Great experience. I will definitely come back when it's time to renew my certification!

Incredibly convenient way to obtain CPR certification! Perfect for anyone needing CPR training but especially great for someone with a busy schedule! I hope this place is around for a long time :)
The class is quick and helpful for renewing a CPR license. The online and skills are easy and can go at your own pace. I've been certified a dozen times and this was quick and efficient and doesn't require a 3 hour instructor lead class which is nice!
