Testimonials from Certified CPR Students in Idaho

It was a great way to get certified on my own time where i didn’t have to dedicate a whole lot of time but enough to learn the information and feel confident in what I am doing!
Highly recommend! Needed to renew BLS Provider. Did online portion and RQI skills all independently. Quick and seamless process.
Recently did bls/cpr training for school. Specifically needed a renewal.

Overall good experience with clear instructions. Good communication from the team after signing up. The Online modules were good, identical to previous trainings through school. I was able to access the building suite with no problems for the in person manakin testing
This was simple and gave the clearest and in time feedback. Directions were clear and it gave a chance to redo and fix your mistakes
Facility was clean, well kept and equipment worked great. Thank you for providing great videos and documentation. I felt well prepared and confident using this program to complete the skills successfully and efficiently.
Easy process both online and skills. Finding the testing room can be an adventure. *Tested ACLS and PALS
Such a user-friendly program. I loved the online training that I could do at my own pace, which included videos and text also allowed me to print off anything that I wanted to reference later. I got plenty of communication about how to complete the skills test. The YouTube videos are super helpful and when you go to do the skills test, it’s a nice clean quiet environment and the program is supportive and really wants you to succeed. You can do practice and it gives immediate feedback. Highly recommend!
They made it convenient for me to schedule a time to complete my ACLS skills check off with a mannequin. Thanks!
This was awesome! So efficient and I loved that it was on my own time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing their BLS certification!
Classes were quick and easy, skills test was pretty simple and quick. Only complaint is the location in Boise. There was a business next door and the people were screaming at each other the whole entire time I was there (you could hear it through the glass door). That was pretty distracting, they might has well have been in the room with you.
Super easy process, was able to sign up, do the online portion, and skills session within 24 hours. Instructions were clear, will definitely renew with them when it’s time.
Great communication and very helpful!
So much easier than sitting through a class trying to pay attention
Super easy!! They make sure you pass!! Will be recommending to others!!
It was quick, easy, and good practice with feedback
Very easy, great communication and feedback. I felt well prepared for the skills.
I was pretty impressed with how efficient everything was. The communication, site setup, and system all helped everything to run very smoothly!

It was so much easier to renew my BLS certification through CPR VAM. The online portion was simple to use and it helped remind me of some BLS skills that I had forgotten. The skills portion in person was also very straightforward and I had no issue with it. Highly recommend getting or renewing your certifications through CPR VAM.

Idaho CPR, BLS, ACLS & PALS FAQs

Find everything you need to know about CPR training, certification, and AED use in Idaho, all in one place.

CPR training is recommended for healthcare professionals, teachers, childcare providers, coaches, and workplace employees who may respond to emergencies. In Idaho, many employers and educational programs also require CPR certification as part of safety readiness. Even if it is not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged for anyone responsible for others’ safety.

Yes. American Heart Association (AHA) CPR, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are widely accepted across Idaho. Schools, hospitals, clinics, and workplaces commonly require AHA-approved training to meet safety and compliance standards. Our certification is nationally recognized and valid for two years.

Many school districts in Idaho require teachers, coaches, and childcare staff to maintain CPR certification, especially those working with children or in physical activity settings. Requirements may vary by district or employer, but AHA-certified training is the most commonly accepted standard. It helps ensure staff can respond quickly during emergencies like choking or cardiac events.

In Idaho workplaces, CPR and AED readiness is guided by occupational safety expectations, especially in healthcare, education, construction, and public service roles. While not every job legally requires certification, many employers follow AHA and OSHA-aligned safety practices. Having trained staff improves emergency response and workplace safety compliance.

Yes. AED training is a core part of CPR and BLS certification courses. You will learn how to recognize cardiac arrest, operate an Automated External Defibrillator safely, and respond effectively in emergencies. The training follows American Heart Association guidelines to ensure real-world readiness and confidence.

AHA CPR, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are valid for two years in Idaho and across the United States. After expiration, renewal is required to maintain an active certification status. Renewal ensures you stay updated with the latest emergency response techniques and AHA guideline changes.

Most CPR courses follow a simple three-step process: register for your chosen AHA course, complete online or blended learning modules, and attend a skills assessment. After completing the requirements, you receive your official AHA certification card. The process is designed to be flexible and efficient for busy learners.
