I have always liked going to Heart Start even for in-person classes because of the correct amount of class time. These new computer-connected skills checks are also set for the correct amount of class time.

One ask - for the Technology Dr location, with the understanding that these things will get lost, it would be nice to have bathroom keys available. Thanks!

I had to renew my PALS certification ASAP for a new position. It also had to be AHA approved. I came across Heart Start CPR as I searched the web. I was able to complete the class in two days and receive my ecard the same day. The class is online which is about 5 hrs and the skills test is onsite which took me about 15-20 minutes to complete. The onsite skills test is available 7days a week. I am so grateful that this option was fast and convenient and that I didn’t have to sit in a classroom for two days. Thank you

The best (and only 😆) CPR class I’ve been to! All kidding aside, it was very well organized, informative and instructive. Everyone got dummies to practice on multiple times during the session. Made me aware of the need for prompt action and the risks if I DON’T step in. Hope I don’t have to use, but better to be prepared than just crossing my fingers.

So easy. I’m a SAHM but also an RN and want to keep my bare minimum licensure up. The fact that this class is self paced online and then individually run via computer and simulation makes it sooo easy to fit into my schedule. Took me like 20 mins versus a typical 3 hour session. This was such a great way to get my CPR renewal done. They were open on the weekend which helps because my schedule is super busy during the week. I loved that i was able to do my review testing online and then go into a classroom alone and do my skills. I think it takes the edge off knowing that there isnt anyone but you in the class doing your skills test. The computer gave clear directions and i was able to follow without any issues. I will be coming back here for my future renewals.

Really straight forward and convenient. Needed my BLS renewal to be done within a specific time frame, they provided several times and days and were flexible. Spoke to a class rep to clarify some questions. Their number is provided in the booking info. She was so helpful and gave a discount. I spent about 1 hr 30-2 hrs for the online portion - very simple to pass. Went in person the next day, no instructor, computer guides steps, its was so convenient and i’ll definitely be renewing my BLS with this company each time.

I paid the $110 for the course. I was able to complete the learning and testing portion at my pace from home on my computer. The following day I went to the Citrus Heights location to complete the physical part. Performing CPR on the infant and adult manikins that were hooked up to the laptop. I was the only person in the room because it was my scheduled time which was really nice. It was such a great and straight forward experience.

Excellent way to obtain certification! The online modules take time but it covers everything in great depth and is equivalent to the written exam, and a big perk… you’ll pass at 100%!! The skills/in-person part is simply that, skills; chest compression and ventilations, no iv pushes or anything… great resource for busy medical professionals!!

Had to recertify my BLS and performed a computerized Skills Test. I went to the Reno location. There was no instructor present, just a laptop, mannequins and BLS bagmasks. It was the best skills experience I've ever had. I worried that I wouldn't get the practical instruction, but it was very useful to complete this computerized test. Pleasantly surprised.

Heart Start really helped me 2 years ago and came through in the clutch again today.
