The hybrid BLS course is very convenient. Especially, when you can’t spend an entire day in a classroom because of work or dropping and picking up kids from school.
The online part of the course must be completed before attending the in-person demonstration. Important to note: you might not receive the link to start the online course for up to two hours after your purchase and yet you schedule your in-person demonstration at the time of purchase before this is brought to your attention. Seems predatory to upsell you on rescheduling charges without first mentioning this.
When I called to ask questions and get pertinent info before signing up - the operator didn’t tell me. If it’s on the website I sure didn’t catch it because I thought the operator and I had gone over everything I needed to know.
Luckily the course email didn’t arrive 2 hours later but it did take about 20 stressful minutes.
I was left with 30 minutes to drive to the in-person.
What is super helpful is they email you videos of how to get to the proper building and entrance as well as what to expect inside the demonstration room. Also, you have opportunities to do a practice test on the mannequin before the tests and can take as many tries as you need to pass.

This was literally the best BLS class I have ever taken! Instead of having to sit through boring videos in a classroom for hours I was able to to the class portion at home and picked my learning level so I was able to breeze through knowledge I already knew as a paramedic. I loved the hands on portion as instead of having to sit in a classroom and take turns with everyone I was able to do the skills in one go, instead of taking 2 hours to get through skills it took me 20 minutes!
Definitely recommend them for all your BLS, ACLS, and PALS needs. I will be scheduling my ACLS renewal with them in the coming month!
