Reviews From CPR VAM Students in Southeast Salem

Best ACLS renewal I've ever done. I love how they structured their classes to be able to do the coursework on your own time and then you only have to go in for the skills (which took all of 15 minutes). I've been a healthcare worker for many years, and there's nothing more annoying than having to sit through a 4 hour class with someone doing a lesson on stuff I do everyday at work. The online course was dynamic where you can essentially test out of a lot of the lessons, which makes it go by quickly if this is your umpteenth renewal but the info is there if youre a newbie or want a refresher.

They also offer later appointment times for the skills checkoff which I appreciated. Nightshift folks are often forgotten about for these classes so it was great to have an option that fit into my sleep schedule. I will be doing as many of my future renewals here as I can. Oh, and the complimentary pocket mask at the end was a very nice surprise! Thanks yall!
I needed my PALS for nurse anesthesia school applications. CPRVAM had easy sign up, course completion goals were clear, and the space for skills exam was clean and easy to find. Overall a great experience
Easy to follow online program that is very interactive and educational. The mannequin pass off was well put together with good feedback
Answered all my questions and was quick and resourceful
Website was way to navigate. I was able to renew my provider card very quickly. Instructions were very clear and company was very supportive. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.
This was the simplest skills lab for both BLS and ALS. I completed the online portion of both courses at my own pace, and signed up for the skills at CPR VAM in Salem. I received emails and texts with straightforward info on getting into the building, and some tips ahead of time for ensuring I would have success with the mannequins. Couldn’t have been easier. I’d highly recommend!
Fastest recert I have done yet!
I thought this was a great, efficient course for healthcare professionals. Super clear instructions and great tips for achieving success on the practical assessment. Online portion was informative, interactive and effective. Definitely recommend.
Instructions to get into the building and find the room with the manikins was very clear. They emailed and texted helpful tips to pass as well. The computer guided CPR class provided clear feedback that helped me a lot. If you're short, like me, definitely grab the stool. That was my downfall which is nothing on the company, just something I thought I'd mention. Overall, it was a great experience, and I was very happy with the results. Thank you!
Efficiently effective teaching. Especially for my busy schedule!
Finding an initial ACLS class that suited my schedule proved challenging, but I eventually found their website using Google Maps. The course was well-structured, addressing all key topics. Although I was nervous during the skill demonstration, the explicit, step-by-step instructions helped me succeed. Thank you sincerely. Highly recommended for any future certifications.
Very good
Great option for those who prefer self paced study with minimal human interaction.
Easy to use and really great instructions! Didn’t have to ask any questions they were already answered. Thank you for a great option to do my CPR renewal!
I’ve been going to HeartStart for many years now and they are a trusted company. I do miss the in person classes however. The online training is very comprehensive and the test questions depending on how confident you are can take a very long time to get through. The skills portion was fine, quick, and provides good feedback. But again, I really enjoyed the in person classes. Please bring it back 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
The best! The process was quick, easy, and efficient. I’m so glad I found this company to renew my credentials, and I’ll definitely be using them for all future renewals. In-person classes are officially a thing of the past!
It was really great,
Easy, quick, straight forward! No issues.
Called Jeff before hand, super helpful with preparing me. Not as scary once you start doing it. Although it took me twice to get down some of the skills. I don’t think anyone can fail this. I recommend coming in 15 mins early to familiarize yourself with the equipment (if possible). And watching the videos beforehand! Otherwise it’s fine :)
Explains everything well and quick as you learn
Quick and convenient. Staff were helpful
The BLS CPR and ACLS training combined a clear and convenient online module with hands-on practice. This blend allowed me to build strong in-person skills while reinforcing knowledge in a structured way.
CPR renewal has never been easier or more convenient!! Loved all the helpful videos to make finding the place and passing the skills test easy! Highly recommend!!
Very easy process and lots of great communication! Definitely plan to use this service any time I need to renew my BLS!
Great people to work with! They helped me reschedule my training easily and right away when I needed to. They provide clear instructions on how to obtain a BLS certification through their company. The hands on portion is very easily self guided with the help of a computer prompt/ voice assistant. They provide extra videos to help pass the skills portion. I would definitely recommend this company to obtain a BLS certification ! They also email your certification right away when you pass!
